WHO WE ARE

American Mongolian Tourism Association is the branch association of MTO that unites the companies that work in North American tourism market. All members of the AMTA is a member of MTO or Mongolian Tourism Organization. They can also be members of other branch associations such as Japan-Mongolia Tourism Association or Europe-Mongolia Tourism Association. By joining AMTA, tour operators join close knit community that is committed to bringing the best of Mongolia to American travelers.

WHAT WE DO

1. AMTA encourages its members to re-evaluate their tour products:

   • Is this the best trip you can offer to your clients? Do your best so that everyone can be happy is our motto. ​

   • Does it bring an experience that is truly unique? Each member wants to explore their resources and want to put something truly unique on the table. 

   • Create right expectations for your traveler in your tour product and deliver what you have promised. 

2. AMTA trains its members to improve their management: 

   • Best practice sharing,​

   • Introduction of new management tools including task management, and CRM,

   • Human resource management,

   • Insurance 

3. AMTA helps its members to reach American travelers: ​​

   • Travel shows in the USA, ​

   • Conferences and Marketplaces, 

   • Agent training for American tour operators and agents,

   • Prepare insightful information for American travelers.
